About the role
Kavana is a new online clinic for adults with ADHD in England, built around what happens after the diagnosis: proper titration and honest shared care with GPs. We're looking for our first senior clinician, someone who can assess, diagnose and titrate independently, and who wants a say in how the clinic works.
What you'll do
- Carry out structured adult ADHD assessments by video, in line with NICE NG87.
- Make diagnoses and write clear reports that GPs can act on.
- Start and adjust medication, and manage monitoring and shared care requests.
- Provide clinical supervision to newer prescribers, including our founder during his first year of ADHD prescribing.
- Help write and review our clinical pathway, templates and policies before we open.
What you'll need to be successful
- Current registration as an advanced nurse practitioner, pharmacist or nurse independent prescriber, with prescribing that covers ADHD medicines.
- At least two years of adult ADHD assessment and titration experience.
- Experience working at an autonomous diagnostic level in adult ADHD.
- Your own indemnity that covers private prescribing, or willingness to arrange it.
- Enhanced DBS, and comfort working entirely by video.
What we offer
- Sessional work you fit around your other commitments, with no exclusivity.
- Admin handled for you: booking and payments, forms and rating scales collected before you start, letter templates, and GP shared care paperwork chased by us.
- A small team, clear processes and a clinic that puts safety ahead of volume.
- Input into how the service is built, from day one.
